Chris Krutzsch was born and raised in a military family, his father is a retired CW2 (US Army).  In November 2004, he was fortunate to have his father enlisted him into the Army. 

Chris’ first duty station was a very unique aspect of his army career. He was stationed in Baumholder, Germany with 2-6 INF. Ironically, his father had the same first duty station and unit! Chris was deployed to Iraq from 2005-06.

 

He was also stationed at Schofield Barracks (HI), deployed with the 25th INF DIV, then was redeployed home to Aberdeen Proving Grounds for the remainder of his military career.

 

Chris earned two Army Commendation medals, two Army good conduct medals, and an Iraq campaign medal with campaign star. Post military service, he earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management at Wilmington University.

Chris and his wife AshLeigh live in Florida with their three children.
